      Lead Engineer (f/m) for Lidar Components Lab Verification

      In this position you will be part of a chip development team within the Automotive Sense and Control (SC) department in Graz. As the Lead Engineer (f/m) for Lidar Components Lab Verification you will technically lead the verification and characterization activities as an essential part of the whole Infineon Lidar product development. In addition you will be responsible for the further development of the related measurement and characterization technology.

      Job description

      In your new role you will:

      • Technically lead the Lidar component verification team ( planning and tracking of verification tasks, reporting, reviewing, debugging, trouble shooting)
      • Define characterization and verification concepts and plans
      • Be responsible for the further development of Lidar components characterization strategies and related measurement technology
      • Conduct component-level verification, characterization measurements and data analysis
      • Tightly cooperate with other disciplines like Project Management, Concept Engineering, Product Development and Test Engineering

      Your profile

      You demonstrate high quality standards for yourself and other people and communicate openly, clearly, and coherently. Furthermore, you take the initiative and overcome difficulties in the pursuit of your targets.

      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Telematics, Technical Physics or related studies
      • Ideally 5+ years of work experience in the field semiconductor or sensor/electronics development
      • Expert skills in electrical measurement technology, ideally for the characterization of semiconductor products
      • Experience in the field of optical metrology
      • Experience in MEMS devices and associated measurement and verification techniques
      • Leadership skills, ideally experience in leading of technical teams
      • Fluent English & beneficially basic German language skills

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G - H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
