      Job description

      You will be responsible for the following tasks:

      • At the design phase you are working closely together with analog- and digital designers to ensure and assess the manufacturability of the product
      • In production ramp up you are in close collaboration with production, test engineering and development in order to identify possibly weaknesses of the product, test program and/or fabrication process
      • During mass production phase the focus will shift to product stabilization and optimization such as yield and test time
      • In case of product issues (e.g. customer complains) you are responsible for the technical support in 8D teams and task forces
      • In this role you are building the bridge especially between production and development. This includes analyzing and correlating of all available data (test data, production data, etc.), identifying potential issues and elaborate improvement measures and transferring lessons learned from production to development

      Your profile

      You remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations and work perseveringly on making things better, faster, and more efficient. You communicate openly, clearly, and coherently and show consideration for cultural differences.

      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A University / University of Applied Sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Mathematics or comparable
      • Ideally 3 years of experience in electronics business
      • Experience in semiconductor physics and circuit design
      • Experience in semiconductor products manufacturing as a plus
      • Affinity for statistics and data evaluation
      • Fluent English and good German skills

      We are looking to fill this position through one of our partners. A valid Austrian work permit is a prerequisite. Our partner offers a payment of 2671,90 EUR (gross) per month (14 times p.a.) according to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
