Your tasks include the evaluation of new deposition methods and processes, starting with feasibility studies, predevelopment until process qualification and transfer of the new processes to production.

      Job description

      Your main tasks will be:

      • Identification of PVD and MCVD process requirements in cooperation with technology development
      • Process development
      • Selection and order of materials and equipment for new development projects in alignment with the technology roadmap and in close cooperation with production and purchasing
      • Process characterization and process control method definition
      • Securing Infineon wide harmonization and standardization of all PVD and MCVD related processes
      • Well prepared transfer of new processes to Unit Process Sustaining (UPS) in production
      • Update of master data information, support of change management and cost reduction projects and engineering support of production
      • Support and cooperation with all frontend, preassembly and backend sites (e.g. Regensburg, Dresden Kulim, Malacca, Batam, Singapore and Wuxi) incl. on demand on-site-visits

      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Physics, Chemistry or Microsystems Technology, preferably with main focus on semiconductor physics
      • At least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
      • Knowledge in semiconductor device physics, thin film technology, metal film characterization and CVD/PVD methods
      • MS Office skills
      • Fluent German and good English skills

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
