In addition, CLS oversees critical business enablers, including how we gather and manage supply chain master data, safe and secure supply chain practices, product identification standards, and market/channel access capabilities. This team is represented in multiple countries, and continues to grow globally in both visibility and responsibility.

      In the course of our growth we are building a new EMEA CS Analytics team and currently hiring for a

      Data Engineer / BI Tool Specialist (f/m)

      • In this new role you act as first point of contact for the EMEA CS Analytics team regarding tools, tool functionalities, and data sources used (ERP-, BI-systems, CRM tools, etc.) as well as data related questions to provide data sets required for business analysis
      • You will oversee supporting all tools used in the EMEA CS Analytics team (currently Tableau, Insight, SQL, etc.) and build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and similar technologies
      • You will create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative analytics center of expertise
      • You will work with multiple stakeholders across the organization (IT, operational Business, etc.) to assist with data-related technical issues, provide trainings and support their data infrastructure needs
      • You will be responsible for growing and advancing our data as well as data flow and collection for multi-functional teams
      • You will participate in analytics projects as expert on data sources and tool functionalities


      • We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role, who has attained a degree (BSc./MSc.) in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
      • You bring along advanced working SQL knowledge (Oracle, MS SQL) and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
      • Technical experience required as SQL developer, in MS SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft .NET Framework with C# programming, experience with Tableau will be a plus
      • You are experienced in performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and find opportunities for improvement
      • You have strong analytical and organizational skills related to working with unstructured datasets
      • You are a strong communicator and are experienced in project management
      • Experience supporting and working with multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment
      • Language skills: English (Mastery) required, other languages are an asset
      • Role can be based at any J&J EMEA location, preferably in UK or in CEE
      • 20-40% travel required

      We offer excellent conditions of employment and possibilities for further career growth within our company. For this position we are offering an annual gross salary starting at 53.000 EUR (excl. variable component). Depending on your skills, qualifications and experience this can be negotiated.
