      Job description
      As a Test Development Engineer, you are the quality gate that every single Infineon chip has to pass - so you guarantee that the customers' needs regarding quality and functionality are met. In fact, you have a high impact on Infineon's perception on the market and its technological development. You work closely with project team members from all over the world and from different backgrounds - thus you have a lot of learning opportunities.

      For our upcoming projects, we are looking for a Test Development Engineer (f/m) for the development of ATE test packages for Automotive Sensor ICs.

      In your new role you will:

      • Definition and generation of test specification and test packages for Automotive Sensor products in cooperation with the IC-Design
      • Development of test hardware
      • Development of test program code
      • Transfer of test packages to our production sites (Villach, Kulim, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia)
      • Development of innovative testing methods

      Your profile
      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
      • Experience in semiconductor business as a plus
      • Know-how in semiconductor power-testing (ATE) or measurement engineering
      • Programming skills f.e. VBA, C / C++ etc.
      • Fluent English communication skills, German skills are desired
      • Ability to work in a structured, efficient and independent (prioritize tasks) manner
      • Analytical and problem solving skills

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment Group G (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
