      Job description
      In your new role you will be responsible for:

      • Requirements engineering and definition of new integrated power products and power devices addressing both application and market needs
      • Definition of requirements of new integrated power products and devices from application and market point of view
      • Verification/Evaluation of Engineering devices during the development process
      • Product Support (datasheets, test benches for product comparisons, demoboards, fighting guides, application notes as well as other promotional materials)
      • Interactions and requests from other parts of the organization (Application engineers, Technology development, Package development, Quality Management, etc...)
      • Customer and regional organization support for design-in, design-win and maintenance.

      Your profile
      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • University / University of applied sciences in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable
      • Fluency in english language
      • At least 2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in the area of power devices
      • Understanding of power devices and low and medium voltage power systems
      • Switched-mode power supply (SMPS) knowledge will be an advantage
      • Electrical and Thermal Simulation Software (e.g. Simetrix/Simplis, Orcad Pspice, Flotherm,..), CAD Software (Layout Tools eg. Altium Designer) and MS Office skills

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G - H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
