      This is an exciting opportunity to join our central Analytics team at Red Bull's headquarter in Fuschl, Austria. You will become part of a broader specialist data department, whose goal is to create business value through actionable application of data. In this role, you will act as a data scientist and visualization expert (m/f), supporting and later managing advanced analytics and visualization projects for different departments at Red Bull. This is a role for a person who has natural curiosity to dig deep into data-related questions, enthusiasm for finding practical solutions, but also an eagerness to develop strong business acumen. You are a solution-oriented self-starter, who knows how to work independently and ask the right questions when stuck, happy to walk the extra mile when necessary. You are also expected to stay on top of developments in the analytics community, travel to conferences and act as a trainer at Red Bull for our internal analytics curriculum.

      Areas that play to your strengths

      • DATA ANALYSIS

      Initially support and as quickly as possible take full ownership of visualization and advanced analytics projects, all the way from ideation, methodology development to testing and deployment.

      Be comfortable working with both large and small data sets from different external and internal sources and be able to making large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable and usable through applying visualization best practices.

      Carry out thorough visual and statistical exploratory analysis to evaluate a data set's "fitness-for-purpose" as well as develop best practice modelling solutions ensuring the highest validation standards.

      Become a power user of several relevant visualization and analytical tools.

      • BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP

      Work directly with business stakeholders in an advisory capacity for their visualization and advanced analytics efforts and be comfortable to challenge points of view, where required, while maintaining a pragmatic approach in developing analytical frameworks.

      Assist in the development and facilitation of internal analytics education and training initiatives.

      Your experience includes:

      (proven performance in)

      • At least 3 years of relevant quantitative and qualitative research and analytics experience in a business context (ideally including experience in Consumer Goods or Retail industry - this is not a prerequisite, however).
      • Advanced data storytelling capacity and experience in using visualization tools (such as Tableau, Qlik or SAP Analytics Cloud), viz packages such as ggplot in R and willingness to learn working with other tools.
      • Solid experience in application of statistical modelling languages (such as R, Python or SAS) and willingness to learn working with other tools.
      • Knowledge of SQL a plus.
      • Solid knowledge of statistical techniques, including hypothesis testing and inference approaches, as well as machine learning algorithms.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as solid project management skills.
      • Solid business acumen a strong plus.
      • Masters degree in mathematics, statistics or computer science or related field. Additional business-related education a plus.
      • Excellent command of English (full working proficiency), German is a plus, but not a prerequisite.

However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
