      • In a nutshell

      As Content Governance Specialist, you'll be responsible for the development, efficient organization, smooth running implementation and coherence of the Red Bull Media House content management system. As part of the Content Governance team you'll steer how content is centrally organized by collecting information for metadata definitions and coordinating unified terminologies and content master data. You'll ensure to uphold these definitions to effectively organize and improve a centralized digital asset management for content.

      • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders

      As part of the Content Governance team you'll steer discussions with business stakeholders regarding metadata needs and requirements to improve the existing metadata definitions, terminologies, and master data. You need to collaborate with various departments to come up with solutions that works for all.

      • Manage daily operational tasks

      In this exciting role, you'll perform daily operational tasks for taxonomy management which includes creating metadata entries and support for channels. You'll provide quality operational services for taxonomy management to enhance content searchability, flexibility of metadata usage, and ensure content reportability.

      • Setting the scene for data quality

      You'll draft guidelines to ensure that content metadata quality is within the standards set by the department for availability, searchability, and reusability purposes. Apart from that you'll ensure documentation is updated through regular maintenance of guidelines, reports, and wikis for the team and internal and external departments. It is also expected to provide support in metadata maintenance and in overseeing these metadata to ensure that the standards defined are followed, and that the information has a consistently good quality.

      • Improving taxonomy and tools

      You'll also get the chance to further develop and maintain the taxonomy, as well as, improve existing tools with the support of the technical department.

      Your experience includes:

      (proven performance in)

      • 3-5 years work experience in an multinational company.
      • Experience in creating, implementing, and maintaining taxonomies or similar structured data.
      • Experience in product/project management is a plus.
      • Self-starter, innovative, highly-motivated, and excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
      • Good knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation computer applications. Ability to organize and analyze high volume of data.
      • High affinity to all kinds of media
      • Highly organized, detail-oriented, structured thinker.
      • An abiding love for classification and interest in taxonomy, metadata, and controlled vocabularies.
      • Collaborative and a team player but also takes initiative and can work independently.
      • Good knowledge of content management and content archive processes is a plus.
      • Bachelor's degree required. Relevant academic training in the field of library science, digital asset management, or archival studies is preferred.
      • Very good in English, both oral and written. German fluency is a plus.

      Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1728 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
