      We are looking for you as our new Head Learning & Organizational Development (m/f)

      In this role you will drive one of Straumann Groups most important initiatives "High Performance Culture & Mindset" globally, with authenticity, ownership and passion. You will act as our "Mr./Mrs. Cultural Journey" with full global responsibility for the design and implementation of a customized transformational journey that reinforces our core behaviors and enables Straumann Group to achieve sustainable market outperformance. The position is based in Basel, Switzerland and reports to the Executive VP Global People Management & Development.

      Aufgaben

      • Act as a strategic consultant and sparring partner for all L&OD needs to the global Straumann Groups` senior management & larger organization
      • Understanding of business needs, identify development opportunities in the organization and address them with design and implementation of scalable L&OD solutions, evaluate progress and outcomes
      • Continue to develop and implement the existing and planned programs, i.e. Culture Workshops, High Performance Team Development and our Entrepreneurial Excellence Program
      • Closely collaborate with HR Business Partners and Line Managers as well as internal and external L&OD experts
      • Take a holistic and systemic view on the organization to design development and transformation journeys that strengthen the organizational effectiveness
      • Select external providers including contracting and evaluating the delivery, in order to ensure quality standards are met
      • Team up and with other HR projects and initiatives and support Straumann Groups HR strategy

      Anforderungen

      • University degree with major in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or a related field and a minimum of 8 years relevant consulting and organizational development experience, preferentially in a high-growth organization and fast-paced market
      • Proven track record of success driving progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization
      • Ideally certified as facilitator and coach with strong experience in leading workshops, providing strategic consulting as well as managing change
      • Experience in instructional design of sustainable learning interventions and familiarity with latest trends and state-of-the-art solutions in L&OD
      • Experience in working in a multi-national matrix organization ideally with international exposure and/or assignments
      • Fluency in English with excellent presentation and communication skills. German language skills are a plus
      • Solid Project Management know-how
      • Strong passion to support individuals as well as organizational growth and development
      • Energetic and performance-driven with entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen combined with astute stakeholder management skills in addition to strong execution abilities and a can-do attitude
      • The courage and decisiveness, to prioritize and succeed - or to fail fast and move forward
      • Able to build trust through authenticity and empowers teams to take personal accountability. Ability to develop the local team, enabling them to take on larger responsibilities, excel in their functions and strengthen their self-management
      • A mature personality who can effectively manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, influence without authority, and work independently
      • Communicates openly and effectively on the leadership team level as well as in an international group network. Open to feedback, positive attitude, and willing to learn from experiences and respectful to others. A team player who listens to others and considers their ideas and opinions
      • Ability to embrace ambiguous situations, navigate through complex issues and achieve results in a pragmatic way with a solution-oriented focus by applying a player-learner mindset. Acts as a role model during times of cultural change
      • Focus on accuracy and produce high quality deliverables even under pressure
      • Willingness to travel frequently
