      Job description

      In your new role you will:

      • Interpret product specifications and (customer) use cases to develop the pre-silicon verification plan
      • Create and maintain a OVM/UVM regression test bench environment on system level using constrained-random and directed tests in order to meet functional coverage goals
      • Debug tests with design engineers to ensure functionally correct design blocks
      • Technically lead a cross-site team of verification engineers
      • Plan and monitor verification tasks and report progress to the project manager

      Profile

      You are able to quickly establish successful cooperations, accept responsibility for common goals and put the team's results above you own interests. You have a structured work style and demonstrate high quality standards for yourself and other people.

      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or comparable
      • 3 years+ practical experience in the field of digital verification engineering
      • Knowledge of µController-based systems
      • Experience with OVM/UVM and object-orientated approach to test bench development desired
      • Knowledge of constrained random techniques, assertion based verification and scoreboard implementation desired
      • Coding in SystemVerilog and/or Verilog/VHDL
      • Understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC design and behavioral modeling
      • Fluent English skills with German skills as a plus

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G - H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2016). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
