      Job description

      You contribute to the design of integrated circuits for automotive applications throughout the complete development process.

      In your role you will:

      • Lead the design, layout and verification team assigned to your project
      • Technically support the project manager in planning and executing the project
      • Take responsibility of IC top level and design circuit building blocks to meet functional and performance specifications
      • Perform f easibility studies, analyze state-of-the-art solutions and evaluate new design concepts
      • Be able to translate customer requirements into design specifications
      • Compare in-house versus competitor solutions
      • Support laboratory evaluation, test development, qualification and production ramp-up
      • Share your know-how in design/layout reviews of other projects

      Your profile

      You are a team player and delivery focused. You are motivated by striving for ambitious goals on the one hand and committed to top quality product development on the other hand.

      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A master degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
      • Well k nowledge of analog and mixed signal circuit design techniques
      • At least 4 years of experience ideally in s mart power IC design
      • Experience in leading / coaching IC designers and layouters within projects
      • Practical experience with Cadence design and simulation EDA environment
      • Knowledge of power electronics and automotive applications as a plus
      • Fluent English skills with German skills as a plus

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment Group H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
