      Job description

      In your new role you will:

      • Manage the new BEOL (Backend of Line) & cost down development group for Low and Medium Voltage Power Mosfet Technologies
      • Lead a Team (~10 employees)
      • Initiate and implement innovation projects (including technology and preassembly projects)
      • Drive the Low/Medium voltage technology roadmap
      • Iidentify cost down potentials of existing technology platforms
      • Define new BEOL modules together with unit process development
      • Define requirements to chip/package interface in terms of quality and reliability
      • Build up an interface to other development groups esp. package development teams in Asia and teams at various subcons and several development groups in Europe and US
      • Support the product development group and realize new chip designs


      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A Master´s degree or PhD in natural science or electrical engineering
      • 10+ years experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally with broad R&D experience in different departments
      • Good knowledge in process integration and product engineering especially in the BEOL area
      • Profound project management and leading experience in cross functional and cross cultural teams
      • Broad e xperience in production environment and knowledge of cost structure in semiconductor manufacturing
      • Deep understanding of silicon technology, device physics and manufacturability
      • Project management skills would be an advantage
      • Knowledge of MOSFET technologie s and product portfolio of Infineon is desired
      • Fluent German and English skills

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a.
