      Job description

      In your new role you will:

      • Manage a sub-portfolio of wafer technology transfer projects and ensure synergies for similar projects with the goal to achieve on-time, on-budget and on-quality complex project goals
      • Coordinate the required subprojects frontend technology transfer, test enabling, front-end-back-end interaction, backend readiness and product qualification and release to ensure the ramp readiness of the receiving Fab
      • Interface, manage and align the transfer and conversion activities with the respective divisions within Infineon
      • Plan and prepare new transfer projects in close alignment with the transfer portfolio management, division, technology experts and capacity planning
      • Align the involved groups within Infineon to follow common methodology
      • Work with the Head of Technology and Conversion Management to improve the organization


      You are able to translate the strategy into ambitious goals and make sure that it becomes a binding guideline for people's actions. You are aware of the strengths, needs for development, and motivational drivers of your team members and deploy them according to their competences within the project teams.

      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A university degree in electrical engineering or similar
      • More than 8 years of experienc e in the semiconductor industry with broad R&D experience in different departments
      • Extensive people and project management experience as well as management of large and complex projects within international teams
      • Strong Project Management Skills - preferably with IPMA level C certification/ or comparable
      • Experience in working abroad (esp. Asia) and sensitivity in understanding how to handle cultural differences/strengths
      • Knowledge of design figures and deep knowledge of processes in neighboring departments where there are regular interfaces
      • Excellent German and English language skills

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J ( The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
