      Job description

      In your new role you will:

      • Lead the Physical design team to achieve high performance by managing by objectives and empowering the individual engineers
      • Be responsible for the continuous development of your team members
      • Drive innovation by providing the right boundary conditions
      • Your professional experience will help to continuously develop methodology
      • Promote collaboration as a team across locations and organizations within a global network of development sites

      In particular, you will have the following tasks:

      • Lead the 8+ person Physical Design team of Powertrain, Safety & ASICs at the Automotive Development Center in Graz, Austria
      • Development of the people in your team is the key focus, hiring of the best candidates available as we grow
      • Represent your team in the global Powertrain, Safety & ASICs organization
      • Foster a network of external partners and suppliers to generate an innovative ecosystem. Encourage diversity as a source for ideas and innovation
      • Strive for continuous improvements to ensure the quality and competitiveness of our products

      Profile

      You will assume leadership of a highly motivated team, set challenging, but realistic targets and monitor their progress regularly. You constantly reflect and question prior assumptions and analyze issues from different perspectives to enable your decision-making processes. Your strong communication skills help you to establish lasting relationships and networks to accommodate multiple skills and sites.

      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A HTL or BSc. degree in the field of engineering or related disciplines
      • Good English communication skills, German language is a plus
      • Knowhow on analog/mixed-signal power technology
      • Experience in layout of analog mixed signal IC's and physical verification

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
