      We look for

      We are currently looking for a Project Manager Central Technical Department "MCC" (m/f) for one of our Austrian production plants (based in Leoben or at plant location)

      Your tasks

      • Supporting all RHI Magnesita production plants in the corresponding manufacturing process step with technical and technological know-how during specific projects and tasks (feasibility studies, engineering / implementation of investments, process optimizations, maintenance) with focus on Life Cycle Costs and Health & Safety
      • Know-How management
      • Internal/external benchmarking
      • Developing and defining Best-Practice processes and equipment
      • Developing pools of competent suppliers
      • Project management of key projects within RHI Magnesita operations involving different plants and/or different company sectors/units
      • Supporting the RHI Magnesita investment process of all major capex projects
      • Different processes you may be involved in:
      • Raw material processing
      • Crushing, milling, screening, sorting, flotation
      • Sintering & electro-fusion in shaft kilns, rotary kilns, electric arc furnaces
      • Storaging, dosing, weighing, mixing
      • Shaping hydraulic, mechanical, isostatical presses
      • Thermal processing in periodic or continuous kilns, furnaces and dryers
      • Automation (material handling equipment, robotics, control systems, SCADA systems)
      • Finishing (Grinding, drilling, impregnating, coating, packaging)
      • All process steps include environmental protection and H&S equipment (e.g. exhaust gas treatment, functional safety equipment) as well as operational excellence

      Professional Requirements

      • University degree (secondary or tertiary education) or higher technical education in the fields of mineral resources engineering, industrial environmental protection & process engineering, chemical engineering, ceramics, mechanical engineering, electric engineering, automation or similar technical studies
      • First professional experience in a technical area preferred
      • Project management skills are beneficial
      • Lean management techniques and tools are beneficial
      • Understanding of business economics
      • Excellent knowledge in German and English, additional language skills (e.g. Portuguese, Chinese) are beneficial
      • Proficiency in MS Office
      • Additional skills like CAD, SAP are beneficial

      For this full time position (38.5 working hours) the monthly gross salary according to collective bargaining agreement starts from EUR 3.259,67. The actual level of remuneration depends on skills and experience.
