The successful candidate will be able to translate business needs into data requirements. The experience gained as an end-to-end service provider in cross-functional data driven projects and an innovation-oriented approach will allow the candidate to proactively challenge and successfully improve our corporate data model and reporting standards.

      Areas that play to your strengths

      Develop close working relationships with functional business stakeholders and data quality teams to understand their specific information requirements

      Translate business requests into data specification and conceptually design the data structure, provisioning logics (e.g. data transformation logics, quality checks, etc.) and target data models

      Author or oversee the creation of the functional specifications that describe the designed solution

      Ensure that target models are in line with corporate principles and guidelines

      Design and align with business stakeholders the most suitable reporting solution to deliver the required information to final business teams. This includes conceptual visualization and definition of the delivery solution (e.g. broadcasted reports, on-line dashboards, etc.)


      Challenge the existing corporate solution landscape for data provisioning, modelling and delivery to continuously improve it and fit to a changing and demanding business environment

      Think and design solution improvements, including documentation of functional specification to IT

      Co-lead with IT the developing projects, taking responsibility for test and release phases


      Conduct ad-hoc trainings to functional business partners on demand

      Your experience includes:

      (proven performance in)

      • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with data related or reporting projects
      • Solid business background in one of the following functional areas: Finance, Marketing, Sales
      • Very good knowledge and experience in designing business information models, logical data models and data provisioning specifications
      • Previous experience of master data management advantageous
      • Project management experience in a complex and structured organizational environment beneficial
      • Good knowledge of one of the following IT data modelling and reporting solutions: SAP BI, Crystal Reports, Design Studio, Tableau
      • Ability to tell stories with data and strong visualization skills
      • Great communication skills with the ability to converse with business partners from all functions at different levels
      • Proactive, self-motivated and directed, able to work with different projects in parallel in a fast paced environment, good presentation skills, team player
      • University degree in Economics, Computer Science or Business Administration
      • Excellent command of English, additional German is a plus

However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
