      What's the role?

      We are looking for a global Supply Manager Category for our Pipe Clamps portfolio including the lead buyer responsibility for some of Hilti's biggest external suppliers.

      What does the role involve?

      Develop and drive strategic initiatives in our global supply environment with suppliers in Europe, Asia and America. Further develop global value streams and deliver on challenging availability and financial targets. Identifying and realizing of cost reduction potentials together with our international supply teams around the world.

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade, employment group 5, which states a minimum salary of EUR 3.157,75.       What you need is:

      • A university degree in a technical or economical field
      • Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience in a purchasing department of a global company
      • Experience with stamping, bending, welding and assembly of steel components
      • Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory) and German (strongly recommended)
      • A highly committed personality and excellent analytical skills
      • Strong executional skills as well as outstanding capabilities in negotiations
      • Willingness to travel globally
