      Product Quality Engineer - Complaint Handling (m/f)

      The Complaint Handling Engineer has the technical ownership of a product family over the whole product life cycle after release for supply, w.r.t. customer returns. He/she supports the customer as technical interface to improve product quality and customer satisfaction by fulfilling customer requirements.

      The main responsibility is to handle customer product returns and technical operations related to complaints, as followed:

      • Problem verification
      • Implement and track containment action
      • Problem analysis and root cause finding (team leader as necessary)
      • Implement and track corrective action
      • Provide interim and/or final reports to customer, via NXP complaint handling system
      • Internal complaint status reporting
      • Maintain good customer relations
      • Provide set-ups for and driving verification and failure analysis independently by using lab techniques
      • Feedback findings to Product Engineering for update of product-FMEA
      • Act as a driver to improve customer satisfaction
      • Drive ppm reduction activities (including NoTroubleFound reduction) and product improvement

      Your Profile:

      • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar studies
      • Experience in equivalent technical position (electrical fault isolation & characterization)
      • Know-how of isolation and analysis of failures (e.g. DFT diagnosis) is a plus
      • Solid experience in automotive quality methodologies, including but not limited to: 8D approach, 3x5W, risk assessment, FMEA
      • Hands-on experience in lab measurements
      • Customer orientation, good communication skills
      • Structured and analytical working method
      • Focused on solutions
      • Working in an international team
      • Very good English skills (conversation and writing)
      • German skills/willing to learn German

      NXP offers competitive compensation. Due to Austrian law we are obliged to state the minimum gross salary according to legal regulations and for this role this amounts to EUR 48.000 gross. Depending on experience and education higher remuneration is possible.
