      Job description

      In your new job, you will:

      • Define target specifications for wide band gap power switch products in switched mode power supplies including definition of critical product details and preparation of application tests
      • Define and create test boards and lab benches
      • Conduct application specific lab testing including documentation of results
      • Work with key-customers in the design in phase, provide on-site technical support for selected key customers and our sales force
      • Drive future application specific product improvements and suggestions for new products in collaboration with product marketing / product development

      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • A University degree in Electrical Engineering
      • More than 6 years experience in the field of power electronics devices, hardware development and testing, preferably in the area of high voltage drivers
      • Project experience in power devices development projects
      • Experience with simulation software (Simetrix, Simplis, Spice)
      • Excellenct English skills
      • Experience in customer communication

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
