Our client is an expert for complete packaging solutions, covering the heavy-duty and light packaging markets and serving all industrial applications. They are involved in the manufacture and distribution of end of line industrial solutions. On behalf of our client we are now looking for the new position of Head of Service Management (f/m), who is responsible for maintenance and for tapping the full potential of the service business within the group. This position will be located at the machines production plant in Italy.
In that position you will define an efficient company-wide service strategy and optimize the existing spare parts business in order to increase the marginal income. You are also responsible for identifying new service products and packages (i.e. including software-based remote service) and at the same time, reducing the overall current product portfolio. Furthermore, you push the cross-selling of the service portfolio within all business units in order to increase sales. We expect you to define an operator model and to establish the consulting business (service, maintenance, prevention service). You are in the lead of a service management team, with approximately 10 employees to further develop. In your role, you represent the service management within the group and actively promote the topic.
The successful candidate should have a technical university degree (ideally in Mechanical engineering) or a similiar education. You have at least 6-8 years of professional experience in a leading position in Service Management in a Mechanical Engineering company and several years of leadership experience. Excellent English skills are a must and Italian or any further language is an advantage. As a person, you have strategic skills as well as the ability to implement your ideas. You are able to work with a lot of interfaces in a matrix-structure and you are used to working in an international and intercultural environment. You convince us with excellent organizational and analytical skills as well as with your highly developed communications skills. You combine the ability to assert yourself with a highly cooperative side. You are a team player, stress-resistant, dynamic, proactive and have a self-driven mentality. In your working style, you demonstrate solution-orientation, with a hands-on-mentality and a good common-sense. Acting as a trouble-shooter is something that appeals you.
The salary package will be around 80.000-100.000 EUR gross p.a. plus bonus with the willingness for overpayment. Additionally a relocation package will be provided.
