      Master Data Governance - for BT: Guidance and mentoring an extended network on master data topics, the creation and implement the master data concept (all master data from supply to customer delivery) for BT in DS Kundl/Schaftenau, plus alignment with other local sites e.g. DP Schaftenau /AI Kundl. Responsible for the Master Data processes aimed to ensure accurate and timely creation and maintenance of the master data in the ERP System, in accordance with local and global requirements (acc. to Novartis Operational Standards; liaise and contribute to global MDM network). Including monitoring and driving the Sites MDM KPI's. Drive the NOSSCE master data workstream to attain Class A certification and sustain the on-going operational performance (including managing projects and providing master data expertise/depth of knowledge/tool development).

      Strong Operational Focus - The owner of this position will be mainly responsible for the creation, maintenance and retirement of material master data. The responsibility includes the data clean-up of the current data as well as the continuous monitoring of Master Data. The hired person will be the single point of contact for master data related topics.

      • Responsible Local Master Data Maintenance (Material Master)
      • create new material master records, global and local material types except packaging materials and technical materials
      • request of global material types at Global Master Data
      • maintain (change) material master records
      • Monitoring of material master maintenance process
      • Continuous master data monitoring in cooperation with affected departments including continuous process improvements
      • Trouble shooting for material master related issues
      • Data cleansing
      • initiate and coordinate internal pruning process
      • check missing or wrong fields in material master record
      • Single point of contact for material master related topics
      • Collaboration in local/global supply chain initiatives/projects
      • Supporting other relevant team members (Planning Department, Implementation of life cycle events, Customer Service etc) with all Master Data requirements and analysis as needed
      • Create Master Data concept in accordance with local and global requirements (development of process, documentation in SOP, etc.)
      • Implement and drive the sites MDM KPIs
      • Ensures consistent master data throughout the whole master data life cycle and
      • Responsible for establishing and leading MDM governance circle (driving meeting structure and actions)
      • Train and support the assigned functional SPoCs and Subject Matter Experts on site.

      Experience-Ideal
      Master Data Manager with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, master data management, logistics, production planning, operational excellence. (Several years in the pharmaceutical industry desirable along with GMP regulatory compliance). Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, excellent project and master data expertise is necessary to perform the job, as well as good communication, leadership skills and a strong customer and quality focus and a result driven mindset including hands-on mentality. (Education: University degree or equivalent)

      Competency Profile Knowledge in SAP and MS office; ability to build and manage relationships; strong communication and presentation and analytical skills; Lean Six Sigma green/black belt certification desirable.

      Minimum requirements

      Education: Successfully completed commercial education (HAK, HBLA) or comparable qualification
      Languages: fluent in German and English
      Experience: Professional experience in supply chain management, logistics, purchasing or production. Deep knowledge of complex supply and logistics processes. Deep knowledge of SAP/R3 and Master Data Management.
      Strong customer and quality focus, with good communication skills and a result driven mindset, including hands on mentality.
