      Job description

      In your new role you will:

      • Develop and optimize metrology processes in close collaboration with other unit process teams and the technology development group
      • Evaluate and select the required equipment from international suppliers
      • Document new processes according to the development handbook
      • Support process transfers to other production sites with the clear goal to match in all relevant parameters to ensure identical process results
      • Handover qualified processes and control concepts to the production team

      Profile

      You are able to quickly establish successful cooperation and gain new insights by questioning existing assumptions. You recognize and seize potential for improving efficiency with determination and work perseveringly on making things better, faster, and more efficient.

      You are best equipped for this task if you have:

      • University degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or similar
      • Ideally 3 years of experience in the field of metrology, preferably in the semiconductor industry
      • Additional knowledge concerning Gr&R, FMEA and 8D methodology is mandatory
      • Experience in optimizing equipment and processes suitable for high performance devices
      • Fluent English skills with good working German skills

      This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
