      Program Manager

      (preferred 38,5h/Full Time, Part Time on request)

      The working place is in Steyr, Austria.

      Steyr is the Sales base for Europe/Middle East/Asia and specialized in automotive powertrain solutions for commercial all-wheel-drive and electric mobility vehicles in global markets. In addition to the Center of Expertise for special powertrain engineering, the facility includes an integrated assembly and testing operation - make to order - with a high variety on products.

      The constant growth during the past years resulted in the need for a dedicated Program Manager to support the sales team in coordinating the various activities and interfaces from the point we receive a client's request for quotation, to start of serial production.

      Main responsibilities

      • Strongly interact with and support of International Sales and Business Development as well as Engineering team for day by day customer contacts, technical and commercial clarifications and relationship management; This includes (but is not exclusive to):
      • receiving and logging-in of sales orders and requests for quotation
      • planning and coordinating various deliverables and milestones with engineering, quality, purchasing, production and other departments
      • planning and coordinating specifications, any modification and change requests with the client and appropriate stakeholders
      • Responsible to review project requirements/specifications and develop project plans that meet project timing, budget and resource requirements
      • Identify and manage arising risks and issues
      • Participate in weekly management meeting and report on status and progress

      Education - Experience - Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree or similar with minimum 3 years' experience in engineering or production related activities
      • Preferably engineering or project management background
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Ability to work closely with team and various departments and stakeholders
      • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
      • Good knowledge and understanding of project management methodology
      • Fluent in German and English
      • Good interpersonal/customer relations skills.
      • Fair understanding of manufacturing process of related commodities.
      • Team player with the ability to work within collaborative environments
      • Previous experience of customer focus and commitment
      • Ideally Oracle or other ERP systems basic knowledge
      • Advanced MS Office knowledge

      For this position, we offer a minimum gross monthly salary of EUR3.000 depending on qualification and professional experience.
