      Purple Lamp was founded by industry veterans to pursue their passion in PC and Console gaming. A love for community driven strategy, management and light RPG games unites a team that has spent many years working together, where everyone knows what they're doing and loves the games we're working on. Our team comes from many different countries: Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Iceland, Spain, Great Britain, Sweden, USA, just to name a few.       Your tasks…

      • Client support and troubleshooting
      • Installation and configuration of hardware (PCs, printers, telephones, tablets, projectors)
      • Installation and configuration of software (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012r2, CentOS/RHEL)
      • Support and operation of the virtual infrastructure and servers with Windows and Linux VMs
      • Network engineering and administration
      • Installation and maintenance of special software (Autodesk, Adobe)
      • License management
      • Administration and reconfiguration of network users
      • Documentation creation

      Your profile…

      • 3+ years working in a system administration position
      • Very good knowledge of Windows 10, Server 2012r2, Active Directory
      • Very good Linux knowledge (RHEL/Centos)
      • Good knowledge of HP and Cisco networking components
      • Experience with network storage (NetApp)
      • High independence, resilience and sense of responsibility
      • Knowledge and drive to implement new tools and processes
      • Very good English and German skills


      • Experience with configuration and administration of:
      • Perforce
      • Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
      • G-Suite
      • pfSense
      • Experience with the unique challenges in the video game industry
      • European citizen or EU work permit

      Austrian work law binds us to indicate the legal minimum wage for each advertised position. For the position, it would be gross EUR 2.393 - per month, 14 salaries per year (IT Kollektivvertrag, ST1 Einstiegsstufe). The effective salary depends on qualification and experience and may be significantly higher.
