      Transport Logistics Manager (f/m)

      Your responsibilities:

      In this position, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

      • continuous improvement of transport performance in terms of accuracy, reliability, utilization and cost
      • responsibility for logistics processes, transport chains and logistics partners
      • continuous improvement of processes
      • participation in contract negotiations with logistics partners
      • system handling, data maintenance and invoice controlling
      • ad-hoc reporting and benchmarking
      • support in development of international logistics and distribution solutions
      • understanding of transport market and dynamics
      • system and process trainings of internal and external stakeholders

      Our requirements:

      • excellent analytical skills and high IT affinity (MS Office, SAP PPCA, BW/BO)
      • high level of understanding for complex technical questions

      Languages:

      • fluent in English and German
      • other languages would be of advantage

      Education:

      • university or equivalent degree, ideally in Economics / Supply Chain Management

      Experience:

      • at least 2 years' professional experience in transport logistics, supply chain management or purchasing of an industrial manufacturing company / in business consulting

      Other:

      • very good communication and interpersonal skills with multicultural awareness
      • proactive and result-driven team player
      • negotiation skills and additional experience in the field of negotiating is an advantage
      • flexibility and mobility (15-20% of international travelling)

      Ref. Austrian "Bundes-Gleichbehandlungsgesetz": The position is subject to the Austrian collective agreement of the "Papierindustrie" with a legal minimum wage of EUR 34,491.24 gross/year on a full-time basis plus overpayment. The overpayment is determined by the qualification of the jobholder.
