      Head of Controlling - Pharma Production - f/m/d

      How will you make an impact?

      You will provide site and business unit leadership with decision support information through analysis of production performance and in making recommendations for improvement on an ongoing basis, particularly during the financial planning process and periodic business performance reviews. You will drive actions to over-deliver against plan targets and develop and engage your direct reports in the spirit of the company.

      What will you do?

      Business Partnering
      Contribute to the business as a challenging and supportive business partner to help the site to improve efficiency and productivity. Give business partnering service to senior management in all matters related to the site financial shaping, its business model, its capital expenditure, costs, investment decisions, etc.

      Management information
      Develop and deliver relevant management information in a timely and efficient manner (standard reports, ad hoc analysis, presentations, etc).

      Budget planning and forecasting
      In collaboration with other team members and functions, actively participate in the business decision-making, including assessment and challenge of short- and long-term activities and delivery of financial analysis to support business decisions. Prepare, manage and improve process and timetable for the periodic forecast as well as the corporate plan submissions. Propose and agree framework and contents for plan/monthly forecast/operational reviews incl. presentations and provide updated periodical and year end estimates for P&L and Balance Sheet.

      People management
      Develop, engage as well as manage 3 direct reports

      Compliance and statutory regulations
      Ensure compliance to all external statutory requirements, legal obligations and internal guidelines regarding Revenue recognition. Execute and document SOX controls for area of responsibility. Ensure timely escalation of information to line management and team to support their agenda. Consider confidentiality and security of information whenever necessary.

      How will you get here?

      • Academic degree in Business and/or Finance including US and international GAAP knowledge
      • At least 5 years of experience in production controlling and project management within a matrix organization
      • SAP and Hyperion knowledge
      • Fluent in English (C1+) and very good German knowledge

      You are a strong team player and an outstanding communicator who is able to flex between big picture and details. You have sense of priority and urgency and have demonstrated problem-solving and drive for results in your earlier assignments. As an engaging line manager, you are eager to develop yourself and your team in a rapidly changing environment.
