We are currently seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer (m/f/d) for a prestigious international construction company operating in Africa. The company has been a leader in the construction industry for over 50 years and is known for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across Africa.
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in the technical operations, focusing on the design, maintenance, and improvement of electrical systems. Your work will enhance reliability and efficiency, making a tangible impact every day.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance electrical maintenance processes
- Analyze faults and deliver engineering solutions
- Design and optimize electrical installations and power supply systems (incl. generators, hybrids, renewables)
- Prepare estimates, BOQs, and technical evaluations; support tenders and site mobilization
- Ensure standards compliance and maintain documentation/checklists
- Provide technical guidance and support training across teams
Your Profil
- Degree in Electrical/Power Engineering (or similar) and 5-8 years' industrial/power systems experience
- Confident supervision of electrical works (teams and subcontractors)
- Experience with tenders, costing, and feasibility reviews
- Strong project coordination during installation, testing, and commissioning
- Strong communication and coaching skills; solid English (B2/C1)
