Field Service Engineer
Your tasks:
* Trouble shooting, service and repair of modern machine tools with regard to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues
* Assist with installing new machines
* Provide phone support for customers
* Perform reporting tasks and other tasks as assigned and maintain service and maintenance records for customer accounts
* Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory in Wixom, MI. Send and receive spare parts and handle all necessary documentation
* Willingness to travel frequently
* May perform the role from their home location but report to our office in Wixom, MI
Your profile:
* Associates degree in relevant field, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
* Good knowledge of machine tools
* Minimum two (2) years of service experience related to machine tools
* Basic understanding of Siemens 840D control
* Basic understanding of Siemens step 7 PLC
* Must have good listening and communication skills
* Must have high degree of self-motivation and drive for customer satisfaction
* High aptitude and resolve to work and contribute to a team environment
* Valid driver's license
* Must be authorized to work in the United States
