Job description

In your new role you will:

* Be part of the Computer-Aided Test (CAT) team that is aiming to closely link chip design and test engineering tasks
* Develop software tools for the automation of IC test pattern, test program generation and simulation
* Be responsible for analysis of requirements, concept and specification, implementation, and testing/QA of new SW Tools and features
* Provide user support, presentations/demos, and training for the users in the business units
* Collaborate with colleagues of chip design and test teams at world-wide Infineon sites

Profile

You are best equipped for this job if you have:

* A university / university of applied sciences (FH) degree in Computer Sciences, Telematics, Microelectronic s, or equivalent
* 3+ years experience in C/C++ programming and scripting (Python, Perl, TCL, shell scripts)
* K nowledge of version control (Git) and development ticket system (Jira)
* Solid knowledge in Unix/Linux and Windows environment
* Experience in micro-electronics, e.g. chip verification/simulation (lab measurement/automation is a plus)
* Know how in HDL e.g. System Verilog/VHDL and Modell and Simulator knowledge is beneficial
* Excellent mindset for software quality, paired with strong communication and presentation skills
* Good command of English language, German is a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
