Job description

The key role of this position is the specification and development of wafer test solutions for discrete power products (Transistors, IGBTs, Diodes, SiCMOS & GaN). Part of this function is also the understanding of product test cost implication for existing and future products within the Infineon product and manufacturing test landscape.

In your new role you will:

* Define test concepts and perform test simulation to ensure robustness of test solution
* Design test hardware for automated test equipment (ATE)
* Code/debug test programs
* Analyse statistical test data
* Implement innovative methods to reduce test costs and to improve quality in wafer test operation environment

Profile

You remain focused on solutions, are open-minded and flexible even if under pressure, exhibit and promote awareness for quality in your area of work and share information comprehensively and effectively.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

* A degree from university or university of applied science in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable educational background
* Several years of experience in test engineering/development/lab environment
* Fluent English and ideally German language skills
* Ideally some experience in discrete power product testing and test hardware development

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
