In Chemicals & Materials, OMV through its subsidiary Borealis, is one of the world's leading providers of advanced and circular polyolefin solutions and a European market leader in base chemicals and plastics recycling. Together with its two major joint ventures - Borouge (with ADNOC, in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar(tm) (with TotalEnergies, in the USA) - Borealis supplies products and services to customers across the globe. OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.

Our business

Your Tasks

* As seasoned industry expert, advise responsible Head of Department on all aspects of OMV's Circular Feedstock strategy, projects and activities.
* Together with responsible Head of Department continue to develop and implement OMV's Circular Feedstock strategy with specific focus on waste sorting and preparation (pre-treatment) of chemical recycling feedstocks.
* Perform feedstock-specific market analysis, identify potential supply and pre-treatment partners and develop price and volume scenarios.
* Manage the identification of potential joint venture and M&A opportunities as well as the negotiation and successful execution of deals. Develop and execute the negotiation strategy, act as interface to all involved Group functions, contribute to evaluation of key risks and upsides as well as mitigation strategy and execution plan.
* Identify stakeholders, develop communication strategy in close alignment with responsible Head of Department and responsible Senior Vice President and facilitate and manage communication and alignment with external and internal stakeholders.
* Represent OMV's interests in Circular Feedstock joint ventures and cooperations.
* Negotiate feedstock supply contracts, and coordinate and trade feedstock portfolio to keep OMV's Circular Economy operations optimally supplied.
* Support the development and improvement of circular feedstock pre-treatment processes/ technologies.
* Support cross-functional technical study work and R&D activities as well as project delivery.

Your Profile

* You have a Master's Degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration.
* You have a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience, a deep understanding of the waste management and/ or recycling industry (incl. with regard to operations/ applied technologies and waste trading) and ideally significant experience in commercial negotiations or the negotiation of strategic partnerships, JVs and M&A transactions.
* Strong strategic and analytical skills and the ability to deliver analyses that provide valuable external benchmarking and varied insights.
* Strong communication and presentation skills in front of Senior Management.
* Strong drive to deliver on agreed targets.
* Strong business acumen and business development skills.
* Ability to collaborate and influence across a variety of key stakeholders.
* Business fluency in English and German, knowledge of additional languages (in particular Eastern European languages) is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant plug-ins.
* Willingness to travel.
