Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop, test and industrialize innovative Lithium-Ion Battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz.

Your core responsibilities are:

* Aligning requirements with internal and external stakeholders
* Defining and reviewing technical safety requirements for safety functions of a battery control units across multiple projects
* Performing, moderating and reviewing safety analysis on system HW or SW level
* Defining steps for integration of SEooC
* Supporting impact analysis and analysis of change requests
* Performing and moderating software tool qualification
* Supporting definition of processes and methods

What you need is:

* Completed technical education (bachelor or masters degree)
* Knowledge in the field of embedded systems development
* Experience in ISO 26262 relevant safety analysis (FMEA, FTA, DFA, FMEDA, SSA)
* 3+ years of relevant industry experience incl. ISO26262
* Understanding of the functional interrelationships in the overall system (electrochemistry, high-voltage components, electronics, software)
* Independent, systematic and process-oriented approach, great initiative and sense of responsibility
* Strong team and communication skills
* Excellent knowledge of English, German is an advantage
* Benefitial Qualifications:
* Experience with requirements management tool and in model based system engineering (SysML)
* Know-How in battery development as well as software tool qualification

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 53.000.--

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
