Service Technician (m/f/d)

Korn Ferry are currently hiring for this position on behalf of Honeywell as their registered recruitment partner.

We are looking for a dedicated Service Technician (m/f/d) in the area of building technology to join our team in Salzburg, Austria.

In this position, you will be in responsible for maintaining, testing, commissioning, and providing technical support for simple to complex electrical, mechanical, and subsystems. You will also use your technical experience and knowledge of the specific systems to discover opportunities for optimization and expansion, as well as to provide proactive advice to your customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, maintenance and calibrations, including diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical, mechanical and HVAC equipment
* Support in the implementation of software products and digitalization
* Preparation for small projects (e.g. recording of the system, sketches)
* Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct contact with the customer on site, such as: B. Arranging appointments, reporting on work carried out
* Identify and report potential errors, disruptions and other opportunities for improvement
* Create and maintain site specific documentation on site as well as internal documentation and adherence to standard operating procedures, HSE and quality guidelines

Key Skills:

* Completed technical (vocational) training, ideally HTL with a focus on electrical engineering, and/or FH in the field of HVAC as well as a comparable qualifications
* Ideally, professional experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC, security and access control systems
* Strong skills in the context of technical error analysis
* Independent, proactive and organised, strong communicator, result orientated and confident
* Availability to fulfil on-call duties
* Valid Class B driving license
* Very good German language (spoken and written) and English language is an advantage
