Assure the local unit has the necessary capabilities to control that products and systems meet the internal, customer and industry requirements, in a cost effective and safe working environment. Develop and implement standards and test methods to ensure only conform products, software and services are released to the customer.

Your responsibilities

* Leads the design, planning and execution of tests, controls, verifications, validations, that are directly related to products, systems, or software production and/or delivery processes.
* Coordinates a proper interface between quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing & validation, engineering, as applicable.
* Ensures relevant deployment of metrics and tools related to quality control in incoming, production, factory or software test labs, and final inspection quality, as applicable.
* Ensures the local organization has the necessary hardware and software capabilities to assure products and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations, including production measurement and/or laboratory equipment.
* Consults with engineering staff to develop test protocols as necessary to investigate the integrity of new products, or new functionality for existing products.
* Provides support to other functional teams as needed to establish test protocols and to perform inspections.
* Collaborates in the resolution of problems to completion, following robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Your background

* Completed higher technical education (HTL/FH/TU)
* Advantageous to have years of experience in quality assurance in Operations
* Comprehensive knowledge of quality methods/ tools (8D, FMEA, 5W2H, APQP, etc.)
* Digital skills for handling tools (Office 365, QM NC tools)
* Knowledge of integrated management systems
* Analytical and structured way of working as well as problem-solving skills
* Experienced personality with high communication and negotiation skills
* Proficient in written and spoken German and English
