Job description

In your new role you will:

* Further improve the enterprise-readiness of public cloud platforms - mainly following the landing zone approach
* Develop, adapt and enforce cloud infrastructure architecture, standards and best practices
* Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of the cloud infrastructure
* Analyse the existing environments; development of improvement proposals and measures for optimization in the area of Cloud (AWS / Azure / possibly GCP and Alibaba)
* Closely collaborate with project management teams to ensure project progress (in terms of time, resources, risks) as well as with IT experts and with service architects from IT Delivery
* Collaborate with application developers and Enterprise Architects to ensure that the solution architecture fits into the overall business picture and goals
* Guide development teams in crafting state-of-the-art cloud (AWS, Azure) and Kubernetes-based applications that fulfill reliability and scalability objectives
* Partner with product owners and stakeholders to design IT solutions that bring their ideas and visions to life
* Enhance the shared infrastructure stack (networking, logging, authentication, inventory) together with our platform engineering team so that our product teams can concentrate on developing their products

During an individual training phase, we will prepare you for your new tasks. With regular feedback discussions and planning of your professional and personal development we want to ensure your success in this position.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to perform some of your tasks in your home office (Hybrid) and you can arrange your working hours flexibly.

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

* A degree (Bachelor/Master) in Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar field
* Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologie s, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
* Strong enterprise expertise with AWS & Microsoft Azure Cloud services for minimum 5 years (e.g. policy management, landing zones, central identity management, cost optimization)
* Knowledge of emerging cloud technologies and trends, such as serverless computing, containerization, and hybrid cloud architectures.
* Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
* Good knowledge of DevOps and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps
* Good knowledge of Cloud security / SecOps
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud adoption and integration.
* The ability to create, refine and challenge patterns, standards, policies, roadmaps and vision statements.
* Understanding of technical governance and participate in or deliver the assurance of a service
* Have the proficiency to t ranslate technical concepts relating to software engineering, delivery management and service management, so they are understood by all.

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group I (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
