To strengthen our R&D team for Marine & Wind Cranes in Salzburg Kasern we are looking for a

Software Engineer (f/m/d)

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Development of embedded control software for cranes in maritime environment
* Implementation of software on real time systems
* Creation of functional requirements in cooperation with other departments
* Quality assurance with tests and software validation
* Documentation throughout the development process according to safety related guidelines and standards
* Implementation of custom solutions and enhancements of existing systems
* Software architecture and project management
* Collaboration in the certification of control systems by notified bodies
* Creation of internal standards and rules
* Technical support of other departments

QUALIFICATIONS

* Completed technical education (UNI, FH, HTL) in the field of software engineering, computer science, mechatronic, electrical engineering, automation engineering or equivalent
* Several years of experience in software development of embedded real-time systems desirable
* Very good knowledge of the programming language C, C++
* Experience in fieldbus communication would be an advantage (CANopen)
* Interest in cranes and machines in general
* Experience with EN ISO 13849 and IEC 61508 desirable
* Analytical and rational thinking
* Organised and structured way of working
* Capable of independent work and team player
* Sound knowledge of German and English

We offer an attractive and performance-related salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience and can be significantly above the "Kollektivvertrag" (= collective labor agreement) for this position (Kollektivvertrag minimum based on full-time employment is EUR 50.286,18 per year).
