Job description

In your new role you will:

* Lead team of technical experts across multiple sites
* Contribute to product roadmaps and take decision with significant business impact
* Represent the electromobility requirements in cross division product development teams
* Be responsible for intensive stakeholder and expectation management for Infineons R&D to internal departments like Technical Marketing, GIP, PSS as well as to external customer
* Drive, coach and challenge new technology, package and product ideas of your team, actively balancing risks and opportunities and driving decisions
* Empower your team to make technical decisions and take responsibility for their implementation
* Enable your team to substantially contribute by innovative ideas to the next generation of Bare Die & Discrete Product development for automotive applications
* Mentor and expand knowledge base of junior electrical engineers

Profile

You can quickly establish a successful cooperation, recognize and use different areas of expertise and skills of the team members. You act as an entrepreneur, focus on results and stay aware of costs and commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole. Furthermore, you are personally committed to the customers concerns and award them a high-priority and focus your efforts on finding solutions that offer added value for both sides.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

* A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable, preferably a PhD
* At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of wafer technology, product development or application engineering
* Proven experience in leading, developing and motivating a team within a global organization would be a plus
* A profound understanding of the interdependency of technology and product characteristics
* Solid theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of electrical chip development/power electronics (Si/SiC technologies, MOSFETs, IGBTs and/or power diodes)
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with customers, as well as internally with colleagues, management peers and upper management levels
* Business fluent English language skills, first German language skills and/or the willingness to learn German would be a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
