The IT Risk Specialist facilitates the implementation of information and cyber security, as well as data privacy processes within Erste Digital and in close cooperation with our partners in Erste Group. In order to keep our high standards it is important to take decisions on a well-founded risk basis. This function is the link between information security, data privacy, IT, and business representatives and is involved into the whole process of definition, maintenance, tracking of security regulations, risk management, defintion of mitigating measures, and especially raising the awareness for these topics of all stakeholders.

A glimpse on the position ...

* (wo)man in the middle - become the missing link and raise awareness by translating identified information & cyber security or data privacy risks in the language of business representatives
* establish and conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments in various domains in the IT area together with our senior colleagues
* Facilitate the process to propose practical and cost-effective Information & Technology risk treatment options in alignment with subject matter experts where needed
* Responsible to prepare, create and implement business impact analysis for critical business processes and solutions based on the already established methodology
* Report Information & Technology risk assessment results to Risk Owners
* Provide aggregated risk oversight for various high impact areas of IT services

* polyglot for techies and business - Ability to communicate IT risk-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Self-confidence with high self-motivation as well as a customer-oriented, flexible and independent way of working
* first professional experience in IT risk management OR information & cyber security OR data privacy and equivalent interest to become more fluent in the other areas
* Competence to understand business environment and processes quickly to align them with identify identified IT risks
* add on would be to have a IT Risk / information security specific certification (e.g. CRISC, CISM, CIPM, CIPP/E)
* Awareness of relevant regulatory standards in the financial sector (e.g. DORA, EBA guidelines) is beneficial

* The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 43.078,- or 52.136,- gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
