About the job

As a Quality management specialist, you will report directly to our Head of Quality Management. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving testing strategies and plans for our refractory products with a focus on circular raw materials. In this position, your primary responsibility will be to support and contribute to our quality management initiatives as part of our recycling circular economy strategy, initially focusing on recycling and but later expanding to other quality management areas. You will be working closely with diverse stakeholders in the departments of Operations, R&D, recycling, and technical marketing, where you will be expected to manage and support quality projects. In this position, you will travel up to 30% of your time for this role.

In addition, your tasks will include

* Closely supporting our recycling circular economy strategy on quality management topics
* Preparation and roll-out of relevant quality standards and guidelines within the RHI Magnesita group
* Monitoring of the quality of circular raw material and management of non-conformities together with Operations and R&D
* Enforce the quality aspects in continuous improvement processes
* Analysis of relevant KPIs incl. highlights and lowlights, providing purchasing & plant support, as well as definition of corrective and preventive actions
* Implementation and monitoring of internal and external quality audits alongside complaint handling

What we expect from you in terms of

Education

* Technical education (e.g. HTL) or a university degree (bachelor's or master's) with a focus on material science, quality management, or similar
* Statistics Knowledge
* Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and ideally also SAP
* Good knowledge of the refractory industry

Language

* English - Proficient/Fluent
* Any other language is a plus

Work Experience

* Some years of relevant working experience in the field of quality management
* Good knowledge of the topics of recycling and circular economy

The annual gross salary for this position will start from EUR 62.000,00 on a full-time basis, depending on your qualifications and experience, as well as the amount of overtime and your level of seniority. We will make sure to offer you a competitive salary package that values your relevant background and that's in line with market values.
