Academic Cooperation and Research Support Office (ACRO)'s mission is to purposefully connect teaching, research, funding and management in line with CEU strategic priorities. We do this through establishing beneficial and sustainable partnerships; encouraging and supporting CEU academic staff in their research activities, including obtaining internal and external funding; acting as interface between academic and administrative partners and thus successfully and efficiently coordinating complex tasks related to project management; and contributing to doctoral education with special focus on improving employability through acquiring teaching, research and project management skills. Our team is located in two cities, Budapest and Vienna.

Erasmus Office is a part of the Academic Cooperation and Research Support Office at Central European University. They are responsible for managing all Erasmus+ Mobility-related activities at CEU, including the inbound and outbound exchange mobility of students, academic and non-academic staff.
Erasmus Office is seeking an Erasmus assistant to contribute to the successful implementation of a range of mobility opportunities that will benefit individual students, faculty and staff members from CEU and its partner institutions.
Duties and responsibilities:
* As a part of the Erasmus+ Team, assisting the Team's work in implementing Erasmus+ Mobility projects:
* assistance in the documentation of Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreements;
* assistance in the preparation of advertising calls for applications for Erasmus+ Mobility Grant opportunities to the CEU community:
* updating of online platforms;
* assistance in the collection of applications;
* assistance in the preparation of individual grant contracts;
* Maintenance of mobility databases and program records, including program-related documentation and correspondence, records of relevant meetings, and communications with participants;
* Assistance in organizing information events, meetings, training and staff visits related to the Erasmus+ Mobility Program at CEU.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree;
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German.
* Previous experience in higher education administration or experience in working in an international and multi-cultural environment is a plus;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, management of databases and use of social media;
* Attention to detail, ability to work as a part of a team, positive personality and strong work ethic;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds with kindness and patience.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary starting from a gross of 16,500 EUR/year. A higher salary is possible if warranted by the candidate's working experience.
The contract is for one year.
