Job Description
*
Test Planning and Design:
* Develop and document detailed integration test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand integration requirements and define testing scope.

Test Execution:
* Execute integration tests, both manual and automated, to validate the interaction between different systems and components.
* Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the integration process.
*
Environment Setup:
* Set up and configure test environments that mirror production settings to ensure accurate testing conditions.
* Work with IT and DevOps teams to manage and maintain testing environments.
*
Issue Resolution:
* Investigate and diagnose integration issues, working closely with development teams to resolve them.
* Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure that resolved issues do not impact other functionalities.
*
Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results.
* Generate and present detailed reports on integration test activities, including defect analysis and testing metrics.
*
Continuous Improvement:
* Continuously evaluate and improve integration testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in integration testing.
The Successful Applicant
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in integration testing, preferably in a complex software environment.
* Strong understanding of integration testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
* Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
* Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, SOAP UI) is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues and solutions.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with API testing and familiarity with REST and SOAP protocols.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
