As a OT Security Officer (m/f/d), you are responsible for managing and handling of all OT security related tasks for the relevant Borealis location as OSO, considering OSMS (OT Security Management system) implementation for safe and reliable plant operation. You are planning budget for OT Cyber Security and ensure proper OT Risk Management is maintained.

In detail you are responsible for:

* Deployment, implementation and management of security strategies and related tasks in the area of Operational Technology (OT) at location Schwechat for a safe and reliable operation of the process plants
* Monitoring and analysis of security events in OT systems at the location to recognize potential threats as soon as possible
* Identification and analysis of security gaps in OT structures at the location together with finding of solutions for risk minimization (e.g. OT island operation modes)
* Budget planning and managing for OT cyber security assets to guarantee the operation of the OT systems at the state of the art
* Tracing and evaluation of new OT security technologies for automation- and security systems
* Development and implementation of cyber security guidelines at the location for a safe and reliable operation of the process plants (EN62443 und OPX-4235)
* Participation at internal and external safety audits
* Close cooperation with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to find suitable security solutions for hard- and software applications

About you

As our ideal candidate, you bring:

* A Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering technology (Process Automation, IT) or a specialized university/ university of applied sciences degree in automation/information-operational technology.
* Proven project management and lifecycle management skills with a strong business understanding.
* Profound knowledge in safe operation of OT networks in accordance to IEC62443
* In-depth understanding and implementation skills of relevant standards (EN, IEC, etc.).
* Knowledge in information technologies.
* 5 years of hands-on experience in an equivalent industry position.
* Proficient in both German and English (business level).

Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement chemical industry starting at EUR 73.112,90 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
