Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Product Definition / Benchmark Engineer who will play a key role in defining our future products for the worldwide market. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to create product demands and definitions and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Tasks - Your responsibilities

* Definition of commercial vehicle requirements for electrified and traditional vehicles
* Contribute the commercial vehicle portfolio definition
* Benchmarking of commercial vehicles and its sub systems

Skills - Knowledge - Experience - Your profile:

* Degree in technical field - mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrics, electronics
* Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
* Technical background in commercial vehicle development
* Knowledge of new energy vehicles and vehicle subcomponents
* Knowledge of the legislation for determining the efficiency and range of new energy vehicles as well as in the area of measurement and testing technology
* Knowledge in European commercial vehicle regulation & market requests
* Autonomous and collaborative way of working, hands-on and solution-oriented mind set and attitude
* Global team spirit, strong communication skills and flexibility, willingness to travel
* Driving license C, E, E95 as a plus
* Fluent in English and German, Chinese mandarin as a plus

The Employee will be classified to the Usage Group IV according to Collective Agreement for Employees of Information und Consulting (Collective Bargaining Agreement of Information und Consulting), as a basis for negotiation of the annual gross remuneration (full-time). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming gross remuneration taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
