Job description

We are looking to hire a Graphic Designer to join EANs Communications Department. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and designing visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate our members and stakeholders. This includes the development of overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports. The successful candidate will work closely with the communications team to ensure all designs align with EAN's brand identity and communications goals.

Main Responsibilities

* Create visual aspects of marketing materials, print design, websites, and other media, including infographics.
* Track and maintain coherent library of visual assets across all projects
* Work with the communications team to develop cohesive designs that reflect EANs corporate culture and goals.
* Design layouts, including selection of colours, images, and typefaces.
* Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
* Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines.
* Design & prepare template for HTML marketing emails
* Liaise and coordinate with external creative agencies
* Be able to work with and along the existing corporate design

Minimum Requirements

* Education in graphic design, art, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in an agency.
* A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and relevant design software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop).
* Excellent visual design skills.
* Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
* Excellent spoken and written English.

Additional skills/experience of Advantage

* Experience in web design, user experience, and content management systems, such as WordPress and Typo3.
* Knowledge of current trends in design and technology.
* Video editing and animation skills.
* Additional languages, especially German, are of advantage.
* Teamwork

Salary: Offering a starting gross monthly salary of EUR2,500 for a 40-hour work week, with the possibility of negotiation depending on your experience and qualifications.
