As a Software Developer at IGT Austria, you'll be at the forefront of creating pioneering mathematical framework which is used globally within IGT. You'll collaborate with a team of brilliant minds, blending your programming powers with mathematical expertise to develop and optimize the framework that forms the backbone of our gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Utilize your knowledge in C++ and C# to architect and develop IGT's mathematical game engine.
* Collaborate closely with mathematicians and fellow developers to implement innovative mathematical models into the framework. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and fostering a supportive team environment.
* Responsible for enhancing the game engine by integrating new features, refining its performance, and ensuring compatibility with emerging gaming platforms through effective porting processes.
* Work on supplementary tools that go with the gaming engine, including GUI written in Python.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and programming languages to continually enhance your skillset.
* Maintain clear, structured, and understandable code.

Your Qualifications:

* Solid technical knowledge about software development (HTL or similar background)
* Proficiency in C++, experience with C# and Python are advantageous
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse and international team environment.
* Good spoken and written English, further language skills are advantageous
* Familiarity with software development methodologies and processes such as Agile and Scrum are beneficial.
* You're familiar with Test-Driven-Development
* Results-oriented team player with a proactive and analytical mindset and a problem-solving attitude
* Willingness to learn and grow

Our Benefits:

Remuneration:

According to Austrian law we are obligated to list the minimum salary for this position. The salary range for the Junior position is between EUR 42.339,78 and EUR 59.600,00 gross per year and for the Senior between EUR54.898,06 and EUR90.700,00 gross per year, however actual compensation is negotiable and will be based on your qualification and experience.
