Mechatronics System Engineer for Electronics Systems (f/m/d)

Your mission

In this exciting position at our site in Vienna you are responsible for

* Specifying, designing and simulating mechanical structures for space electronics and mechatronics (sub-)systems, e.g. de-sign/simulation of frames/units, supporting the development of drive mechanisms/electronics assemblies
* Performing the related environmental designs and simulations (structural, thermal, radiation) and supporting the test campaigns
* Evaluation and simulation of novel thermomechanical design materials and concepts
* Active collaboration with and support of other teams and departments to ensure best possible trade-offs in terms of performance, schedule, budget, design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test
* Actively contributing to improvements of the products, processes, methods and tools

Your horizon

* Master's degree in mechanical design engineering or equivalent education
* Preferably ten+ years' experience in mechanical design and analysis
* You are passionate for your design and feel responsible to get it working reliably in a harsh environment
* You are confident in taking technical decisions with the right balance between cost, time, quality, and performance
* You have a collaborative and creative mindset, share know-how and solve problems together in the team
* You like to expand your horizon and to adapt to new technologies and ways of working in a global organization
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written
